The 2018 Nicol of Skene Westhill 10k!

SIGN UP TO THE 2018 WESTHILL 10K

We’re back! Following the success of the 2016 and 2017 Westhill 10k, we are delighted to open entries for the 2018 event, on Sunday 24th June. For the third year running, the Westhill and District Community Sport and Leisure Hub and Westhill 10k committee are organising the race day, which will once again be sponsored by Nicol of Skene.

This is a fun event organised to promote active participation in sporting events and wellbeing for all! There will once again be Primary and Secondary School races, before the 10k race at 10am. The categories are: P1 to P3 (600m), P4 to P7 (1k) and S1 to S3 (2.5k); entry to the children’s races is free.

Motivation, training and recovery!

Following on from the successful pre-race event from the 2016 race, the Nicol of Skene Westhill 10k, organised by the Westhill District and Community Sports Hub, is organising a pre-race event on Wednesday, 10th May in the Westhill Holiday Inn. The event is hosted by former international marathon runner and sports journalist, Fraser Clyne. Fraser is five times Scottish marathon champion and competed in the 1986 Commonwealth Games marathon, finishing 10th.

Springtime is fast approaching and with lighter nights and brighter days, it’s the perfect opportunity to get running! The 2017 Nicol of Skene Westhill 10k is on Sunday, 11th June so you have plenty of time to get 10k ready and enjoy this scenic race route.
