New route for the 2018 Westhill 10k!

After a few months of rumours, testing, measuring, paper work and final approval, the committee for the third annual Nicol of Skene Westhill 10k are delighted to be able to share the new route map with you! And we cannot wait to have the runners on this course… in just under 40 days.

What to expect?

The first 5km of the course will stay the same – starting at the Ashdale Hall and heading up Westhill Drive (sorry, but there’s no other way to say that…). The course changes for the last 5km of the race (although still finishing on the Westhill Academy playing fields, near the race village), which means less major road crossing and the added bonus of taking in some of the new developments in Westhill.

We had the new course tested by some local runners, including category winner Nicola Gauld and have had excellent feedback.

Check out the new route map here!
